For our younger climbers, we offer weekend courses together with parents every spring and autumn term.

During the course, children will learn the basics of climbing, and as a parent, you will learn how to belay – so that you can continue climbing independently together after the course. Our instructors are with you throughout the entire course.

All parents who participate receive a Green Card after successfully completing the climb (the test is included in the course).

Course Setup

  • Age: 6–10 years (based on the year the child turns)
  • Sessions: 5 sessions over 5 weeks
  • Format: Child + parent climb together (1 child + 1 adult)
  • Important: The first session is mandatory, as the focus is on teaching parents how to belay

Important Information

  • The course can only be booked for one child and one adult
  • The same parent/adult must attend all sessions
  • Missed sessions cannot be replaced

Fee: 2,595 SEK (for one child and one adult)
Paid directly at registration via card or Swish

⚠️ Spots are limited and often fill up quickly – sometimes in just minutes or seconds after registration opens. Registration can only be done via our registration form when it opens on the website. Unfortunately, registration by phone or email is not possible.

Interested in the Climbing Academy?

We start new groups every term, and sometimes there are available spots in existing groups. When registration opens, you can easily register your child via our form on the website. Remember, spots fill up quickly – first come, first served.

There is unfortunately no waiting list, but if you sign up for our interest list, you will receive an email with information when registration opens, giving you the chance to secure a spot for your child.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to skola@klatterverket.se

  • Cancellations made no later than 1 month (30 days) before the course starts will receive a full refund of the term fee.
  • Cancellations made later than 1 month (30 days) before the course start will be charged 20% of the term fee.
  • Cancellations made later than 14 days before the course start are non-refundable, and the full fee applies.
  • After the course has started, no refund will be given unless there are special circumstances, such as being forced to withdraw due to serious illness or injury. A medical certificate is required for refunds. Compensation is calculated as 80% of the term fee divided by the number of sessions in the term, multiplied by the number of sessions missed.
