Is it time to get your Green Card?

Our top rope course is designed for those who want to learn how to climb independently and obtain the Green Card in order to truly get started with climbing. The course is divided into two sessions. No prior climbing experience is required to participate. During the course, you will both climb yourself and belay others. Practical skills are combined with theory, and the course follows the standards of the Swedish Climbing Federation.

Course information

  • Minimum age: 15 years
  • Two sessions of 2 hours each
  • All equipment included
  • Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the full amount will be charged

Prices

  • SEK 1,350 per person

First session

2 hours. Must be booked in advance.

In a group of up to 4 people, you will learn together with an instructor about equipment, belay techniques, basic climbing techniques, and everything you need to safely practice indoor climbing independently.

Second session

2 hours. Booked in advance.

Now we deepen our knowledge, review key skills, practice falling, and learn more about climbing technique and equipment. This session also includes the top rope climbing test for the Green Card, which consists of a theoretical and a practical exam.

Private beginner course

If you are unable to attend our scheduled sessions, or if you prefer a setup with a private instructor, you can book a private session for the first course session. The course content is the same as in the regular beginner course.

Price

  • SEK 1,595 per person
  • Minimum of 2 participants per booking for private sessions

Test for the green card

The top rope climbing test consists of a theoretical and a practical exam. If you have climbing experience and already know how to belay, you can go straight to the test. We are able to accommodate you for the exam on most days of the week.

Price

  • SEK 295 per person.
  • May be booked for 1 person, but you need to bring a friend who can climb while you demonstrate how to belay.
  • Entry to Klätterverket is not included in the price.
