Popular and in demand – we’re back again!

Our latest handstand workshop with our amazing instructor Sonja was a huge success, so we’re inviting you to another session. Don’t miss the chance to try or develop your handstand at Klätterverket Gasverket. We start with a warm-up and mobility work focusing on wrists, shoulders, and scapular stability. Then we go through the fundamentals, safety, and balance before practicing technique—both against the wall and with spotting—adapted to your level.

The workshop also includes a customized section based on participants’ goals, such as pressing into a handstand or preparatory exercises for a one-arm handstand. We finish with handstand-specific strength and mobility work to help you keep progressing after the session.

The workshop is led by our instructor, personal trainer, and circus educator Sonja Ruohonen, who specializes in handstands and has experience working with both beginners and advanced practitioners. With the motto “life is better upside down,” she inspires you to find strength, control, and confidence in your handstand.
