The following membership terms apply between Klätterverket’s training facilities (Klätterverket AB, reg. no. 556537–3569 and Klätterverket Gasverket AB, reg. no. 559019–4766) (“Klätterverket”) and the person named in the membership agreement (“the member”).
These terms apply indefinitely and constitute an integral part of the membership agreement entered into between the member and Klätterverket. These terms replace all previous membership terms between the parties.
Klätterverket reserves the right to amend these membership terms, and any changes will be communicated to the member as described in section 3 “Communication” at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Membership
A membership at Klätterverket constitutes a continuous agreement between Klätterverket and the member, regardless of whether the membership agreement has a fixed term or not.
The membership continues even after any fixed term has expired until the membership is terminated according to section 6 below.
Membership grants the member the right to train at Klätterverket’s facilities as specified in the membership agreement and to access Klätterverket’s offers under the applicable terms.
Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. The minimum age for signing up for membership via direct debit or RCP is 18 years. For a person under 18, a guardian must sign the membership on their behalf.
When visiting the facility, the member must always register at entry. Entry without a membership card requires valid ID. Lost membership cards must be reported to Klätterverket. Members are responsible for their cards and must replace them if lost or damaged. Replacement cards are purchased at the reception at the current price.
Communication
All correspondence from Klätterverket is sent to the email address provided by the member. It is the member’s responsibility to notify Klätterverket of any email changes.
If a person does not have email, Klätterverket may refuse membership. Members must consent to receive mass emails from Klätterverket. Otherwise, it is the member’s responsibility to stay updated regarding price adjustments and membership terms by contacting Klätterverket directly.
Payment
Payment under the membership agreement is made either annually in advance, monthly in advance via direct debit (autogiro), or by card (RCP agreement). Autogiro and RCP agreements are ongoing. An administrative fee applies when setting up a new autogiro or RCP agreement.
Debits under autogiro and RCP agreements occur at each month-end (between the 25th and 31st). The period from membership start until the first debit is paid directly at the reception.
The member authorizes payment from the specified account or card on the due date. The member is responsible for providing correct information and ensuring funds are available. Failed payments may result in suspension of the membership card. Late payments are subject to interest and reminder/collection fees.
Fixed Term
The fixed term is specified in the membership agreement. If no fixed term is stated, the membership continues without a fixed term.
To terminate a membership at the end of a fixed term, notice must be given according to section 6 “Termination.”
Members may extend the fixed term during the current period. The new term starts immediately after the old term ends, with the price according to the current price list. Klätterverket may refuse renewal if such offers are no longer available.
If notice is not given, a membership with a fixed term automatically converts to a membership without a fixed term at the current price.
Klätterverket may immediately terminate a membership if the member violates safety rules or acts contrary to section 16 “Miscellaneous,” including repeated non-payment.
Termination
Members may terminate their membership at any time with notice.
Termination requests must be received by the 20th of the month to end the membership at the end of that month.
Memberships with a fixed term must at minimum run until the end of the term.
Termination must be submitted in writing via email to medlem@klatterverket.se.
Klätterverket may also terminate memberships as described in these terms.
Freezing Memberships
Members may freeze their membership once per year for up to two months. Longer freezes are allowed for long-term illness, work or study abroad, or pregnancy, with supporting documentation. Freezes can extend up to 12 months per calendar year.
During a freeze, the fixed term is extended by the frozen period. Memberships resume automatically after the freeze. Freezes cannot be applied retroactively and cannot coincide with the notice period.
Freeze requests must be submitted via email to medlem@klatterverket.se by the 20th of a month to take effect the following month. Late requests postpone the freeze by one month.
Price
All membership prices are in SEK, including VAT. Fixed-term memberships are protected from price changes during the term.
At the end of a fixed term, memberships not terminated convert to non-fixed-term memberships at the current price list. Administrative fee and price changes due to taxes, VAT, or other uncontrollable costs may apply even to fixed-term memberships.
Membership Benefits
Members may use benefits offered at the time by Klätterverket. Benefits are personal and non-transferable. Current benefits are listed at www.klatterverket.se. Klätterverket may add, remove, or change benefits. Changes are communicated as described in section 3 “Communication.”
Student and Promotional Offers
Discounted memberships require proof of eligibility. Students must present a valid student card. Offers are valid for the card’s period and may be renewed with a new card, provided Klätterverket offers the student discount at the time.
Price Changes
Fixed-term memberships are protected from price changes during the term. After the term, membership continues without a fixed term at the current price list. Non-fixed-term memberships may be subject to price changes, with at least 30 days’ notice.

Member data is processed according to Klätterverket’s privacy policy.
