We are currently looking for a Head Setter to join our team at Klätterverket Gasverket.
Job Description
As a Head Setter with us, your responsibility is to plan and lead the rest of the route setting team and, together with them, create a high-quality, safe, and stimulating climbing product.
As a route setter, you will build both boulders and roped routes suited for climbers of all levels, and when needed test and evaluate what we set. The work includes not only route setting but also safety checks, supervision, and daily as well as preventative maintenance of the climbing gym, climbing walls, and climbing holds.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with strong creative ability who loves climbing. You work well in a team and are a good communicator. You act professionally in your leadership role and work with a strong focus on safety, following the regulations and procedures we have in place.

Qualifications
To be considered for the Head Setter role, you must be an active climber with a good understanding of climbing, and you climb regularly yourself.
Merits
Previous experience of route setting in commercial climbing gyms is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Experience in practical work such as carpentry/handyman work and/or rope access work is also beneficial for the role.
Hours and Location
80–100% position with a fixed monthly salary.
Your main workplace will be Klätterverket Gasverket, but we sometimes also work at our other facility in Sickla.
Probationary period: 6 months.
The work is primarily scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but evening and weekend work may occur in connection with events.
